MBHTE Mandate

The Ministry shall be primarily responsible for the formulation, planning, implementation, and coordination of the policies, plans, programs, and projects in the areas of formal and non-formal education at all levels, supervise all educational institutions, both public and private, and provide for the establishment, maintenance, and support of a complete, adequate, and integrated system of education relevant and responsive to the needs, ideals, and aspirations of the Bangsamoro People.

We will deliver balanced, inclusive, and quality education through the creation of education policies that reflect the history and aspirations of all Bangsamoro people, implementation of programs that produce globally competitive leaders and professionals, and development of informed and empowered citizens through educational programs and policies rooted in moral governance.

MBHTE's tagline "Bangsamoro United: Education Without Exception", which aims to communicate that everyone in the BARMM is united towards quality inclusive education that ensures no one gets left behind.

VISION

By 2028, we envision for adequate, standard, and quality education infrastructures in the Bangsamoro Region that are environmental and learner-friendly guided by the principle of moral governance

MISSION

To strictly implement standard plans and specifications and to provide quality education infrastructures in the Bangsamoro Region through innovative strategies that promote conducive learning, competency development, equal access, and satisfaction to end-users and other stakeholders.

MANDATE

The Education Facilities Section (EFS) of the MBHTE is mandated to lead the conceptualization, development, project implementation, management, and preservation of physical learning environments across all educational levels within the Bangsamoro Region. It ensures that school infrastructure aligns with the region's cultural context, promotes equity, safety, inclusivity, sustainability and supports the delivery of quality education in line with Islamic values, Bangsamoro identity, and the aspirations of moral governance.
